This Privacy Policy explains how Sri Anantha Rice Traders (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Tokieo mobile application (the “App”), a wholesale grocery ordering service for retailers and businesses.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to create your account and fulfil your orders:
- Account details — your name, business name, mobile number, and (where provided) GST number.
- Delivery address & location — the addresses you save, and, with your permission, your device’s GPS location to help capture an accurate delivery address at registration or checkout.
- Order information — the products you browse, add to cart, and order, and your order history.
- Verification — a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS to confirm your mobile number. With your consent the App may read only that OTP message to fill it automatically; it does not read any other messages.
- Device & notifications — a push notification token and basic device information used to send order updates and keep the App working reliably.
We do not collect or store your card, bank, or UPI credentials. Payments, where applicable, are handled by a secure third-party payment provider.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process, deliver, and provide support for your orders.
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and service notifications.
- To verify your identity and keep your account secure.
- To improve the App and our service.
Location permission
The App requests location access only to detect and confirm your delivery address. You may decline or enter your address manually, and you can turn off location access at any time in your device settings. We use location only while you are using the App and do not track your location in the background.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- With our delivery staff and partners, to deliver your orders.
- With service providers that host our systems, send SMS/notifications, or process payments, under obligations of confidentiality.
- Where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Data retention
We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You may ask us to delete your account (see below).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Your rights & account deletion
You can access or update your account details in the App. To request a copy of your data, or to delete your account and associated personal data, contact us using the details below and we will act on your request within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Children
The App is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
